5. Document Submission
Korean Nationals
Korean nationals must submit the original application form provided by the school. The administrative office only accepts original certificates issued 30 days before the starting date of the application period.
※ In the case of licenses, photocopies are accepted; if they are proven false, however, the enrollment may be canceled.

1 Copy of the diploma of the final academic degree or proof of candidate for graduation, including the academic degree number
1 University academic transcript including percentage-based GPA
The transcript must include the academic performance of all class standings. Academic performance without percentage points will be calculated in accordance with the Kyung Hee University rules.
Optional item: 1 Proof of working experience or employment or 1 photocopy of licenses
If certificates proving working experience or employment are not submitted, the working experience or employment stated in the application form will not be accepted. The application form must include accurate dates of working experience or employment.
The authenticity of photocopies of all licenses or certificates is confirmed on the day of the interview.
Optional item: 2 Portfolios of creative works
Portfolios can be submitted on the day of the interview. Prepare 2 portfolios for submission.
Attach 3 photographs (3cm×4cm) to the Entrance Management Card, Enrollment Application, and Admission Slip.
Submit all required documents apart from optional documents (certificate of working experience, proof of employment, portfolio, photocopies of certificates/licenses, etc.).
All submitted documents must be original, not photocopied, in principle. Submitted applications and documents will not be returned to the applicant.
Foreigners
Foreign nationals must submit the original form provided by the school. The administrative office accepts only original certificates issued 30 days before the starting date of the application period.

A photocopy of diplomas can be submitted. In the case of proof of graduation in China, the certificate issued by CHSI must be submitted.
If having obtained a degree higher than Master’s in a Korean university, the applicant must present the original diploma or certificate during an interview at the administrative office.

The final GPA or percentage score must be accurately stated in the application form.
If the academic transcript does not include the GPA or final credits, the applicant must request the official document issued by the school and submit it.
1 Document stating the applicant’s linguistic competency
1 Proof of Residence in Korea from the Immigration Office
Non-Korean students who received academic degrees in Korea must submit a proof of residence in Korea from the Immigration Office for the past 10 years (January 1, 2013 ~ November 30, 2022).
The non-Korean applicant who received an academic degree in a Korean university but is residing overseas must inquire with the administrative office before issuing certificates or submitting letters of representation.
1 Photocopy of passport or alien registration number: Check the passport expiration date
Alien registration is not necessary for applicants who are not in Korea.
1 Certificate of nationality and family relations of the applicant and his/her parents
1 Certificate issued by the Korean consulate or notarized translation of the Apostille certificate
Chinese national applicants must submit photocopies of the applicant and family ID cards, notarized copy of the Chinese Household Registration, and notarized copies of family relations (Only when family members are separated on the registration).
If the parent is deceased or divorced, submit proof of death or divorce.
1 Bank statement of the account under the applicant’s name, which must show that the savings account has more than USD 20,000.
The bank statement is valid only if issued 30 days before the starting date of the application period.
In the case of foreign nationals with alien registration number and residing in Korea: 1 Bank balance statement issued by a local bank
Optional item: 2 Portfolios of creative works

If the required document is not in English or Korean, be sure to include notarized Korean or English translations of the document.
When submitting an academic transcript and a diploma from a foreign country, the applicant must include the certification by the overseas educational institution or by the Korean consulate or diplomatic office in the applicant’s home country. In the case of a document from Apostille member countries, the applicant must receive an Apostille certificate from the apostille-related organization and submit it.
Foreign nationals with alien registration numbers and residing in Korea can only submit the certificate of balance issued by a local bank. (The certificate of balance issued by foreign banks is not eligible.)
All submitted documents must be original, not photocopied, in principle. Submitted applications and documents will not be returned to the applicant.

In the case of mail, the application must be sent by registered mail, and it must arrive on or before the deadline.
